Emergency Relief

Global Partners responds quickly to disasters and emergency situations, providing food, shelter, and medical care.

We don’t just send money; we go to afflicted areas and get our hands dirty. Compassion goes a long way in Afghanistan and Tajikistan, and our local and international staff go out of their way to help people survive disasters and get back on their feet. Our priority is long-term community development – and we are intentional about converting our disaster response to development as quickly as possible. But sometimes, simple emergency relief is just the right thing to do.

GP also works to improve the response capacity of local communities through programs of training and capacity building.  When disaster strikes in difficult places, we stand ready to help people in their time of need.

In all projects and programs, Global Partners provides broad-based assistance. Global Partners is a non-political NGO (Non-Government Organization), and does not discriminate on the basis of ethnicity, gender, religion, or political persuasion.
